Kisii based Gospel artist Christopher Mosioma Alias Embarambamba has become embroiled in a Youtube copyright dispute involving Pastor Ezekiel Odero and his congregation at New Life Church.
Embarambamba openly acknowledged sharing a video of Pastor Ezekiel’s sermon on his own YouTube channel, unaware that the content was protected by copyright.
As a result, a copyright strike was issued against him, indicating that New Life Church had submitted a takedown request. This unfortunate incident led to the loss of Embarambamba’s popular YouTube channel, compelling him to reach out to Pastor Ezekiel in hopes of finding a resolution.
In a TikTok video directed towards Pastor Ezekiel, Embarambamba emphasized their shared identities as men of God and their involvement in the same ministry.

He humbly appealed to the pastor, urging him to revoke the copyright strike so that he could regain control of his YouTube channel.
“Due to Pastor Ezekiel Odero’s actions, I have lost access to my once-thriving YouTube channel. I unknowingly shared a video of him sharing his testimony and, as a result, received a copyright strike. It came to my attention that New Life Church, led by Pastor Ezekiel, had requested the takedown.”
“I implore you, Ezekiel. We are both men of God, engaged in the same ministry. I kindly request that you withdraw the copyright strike, allowing me to reclaim my YouTube channel,” pleaded Embarambamba.
In a social media video, Embarambamba recently stirred up a buzz by donning a small beige miniskirt and delivering a playful dance performance for his viewers.
Sporting eye-catching red sneakers and a matching top, he enthusiastically displayed the unique traits that initially endeared him to his audience.
When faced with the ensuing video controversy and the accompanying criticism, Embarambamba stood his ground and defended his artistic approach.
“I see this as incorporating comedy into gospel music. Just because I am a devoted Christian doesn’t mean I cannot infuse humor into my content. Moreover, if I don’t create engaging content that resonates with my followers, I won’t receive the necessary support,” he explained confidently.
