The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) has published the names of shortlisted candidates who recently applied for the online recruitment drive.
In a statement released on Friday, the KDF announced that 1,606 applicants seeking to join the force, either as tradesmen and women or specialist officers, have been shortlisted.
Among them, 347 individuals are designated as specialist officers, and 1,259 are for tradesmen and women roles.
To check if they made the shortlist, applicants who participated in the recruitment drive are encouraged to visit the downloads section of the Ministry of Defence website.
They can also access the list of shortlisted candidates through verified KDF social media accounts.
Additionally, the Defence Force has disclosed the interview dates and locations for the successfully shortlisted candidates.
Tradesmen and women are instructed to report to Embakasi Garrison in Nairobi on September 25, 2023, starting at 8 am for their interviews. Specialist officers, on the other hand, will attend interviews at the KMA in Lanet, Nakuru County.
“All candidates must bring their original National Identity (ID) Card, along with four copies of their academic and professional certificates, curriculum vitae, and any other relevant testimonials,” stated the KDF.
During the interview period, the candidates will be provided with feeding and accommodation. Moreover, unsuccessful candidates will be reimbursed for their road travel expenses in accordance with KDF Regulations.
