Huduma Kenya has extended call hours for its customers up to 9 pm at night in the latest changes aimed at improving service delivery.
Huduma Kenya noted that the extended call hours are for only working days( Monday to Friday )
The announcement comes a few months after it announced an extension in normal working hours.
The changes affect 18 high-traffic Huduma Centres; Nairobi GPO, City Square, Makadara, Kibra, Eastleigh, Kiambu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Nyeri, Embu, Meru, Laikipia, Kisii, Kitale, Kericho, Kakamega, Kisumu and Mombasa.
An appointment system was introduced during COVID 19 pandemic but has now become a mandatory process.
According to Huduma official website, More than 60,000 people are served in Huduma centres daily across the country.
With online booking and extended working hours, their aim is for Kenyans to say goodbye to long lines and waiting times.

The Huduma Centre is a government endeavor that strives to offer citizens convenient, efficient, and transparent access to public services.
Inaugurated in Nairobi in 2013, the Huduma Centre has expanded its presence to encompass over 50 locations nationwide.
At these centres, citizens have the opportunity to access a diverse array of services. These include acquiring birth certificates, applying for ID cards, renewing and obtaining passports, registering businesses, filing taxes, and making bill payments.
