The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has advertised two job vacancies for the roles of assistant director (corporate communications) and records management assistant.
In an announcement issued on Tuesday, KNEC’s CEO, David Njeng’ere, revealed that internal and external candidates are eligible to apply for the available posts.
“Interested and suitably qualified candidates should fill and submit through the address below the Application for Employment Form KNEC.2A (External Applicants) or Application of Employment Form KNEC.28 (Internal Applicants),” Njeng’ere explained.
Applicants are also required to submit their application letter, duplicates of their academic and professional certificates, and a comprehensive curriculum vitae. This should encompass their email address, ongoing salary indicated in the latest pay slip, three referees’ names and valid contact information.
Only shortlisted candidates for the two vacancies will be considered for the interviews.
Successful applicants should fulfil the requirements outlined in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
Njeng’ere emphasized that KNEC is an equal opportunity employer and strongly encourages individuals with disabilities and female candidates to submit their applications.
The CEO further noted that the Council would offer an attractive compensation package that aligns with the seniority and obligations of the respective positions.
Applicants have been advised to refer to the KNEC website for comprehensive information pertaining to the available job positions.
The application letter and accompanying documents must reach the designated recipient on or before August 21, 2023.
