Limuru-based BrownCheese Company Limited finds itself embroiled in a distressing scandal, as three senior managers were apprehended on Thursday following allegations of compelling female employees to undress at the workplace.
The shocking incident unfolded when a manager, driven by the desire to identify the individual responsible for improperly disposing of a sanitary towel, allegedly coerced female staff members into stripping naked.
The arrested individuals are; the plant’s Quality Assurance Manager, Human Resource Manager, and HR assistant, all of whom are scheduled to make a court appearance on Friday to face the charges leveled against them.
This troubling occurrence took place on Tuesday, when numerous female employees were subjected to the distressing experience of disrobing after a used sanitary towel was discovered in an incorrect disposal bin.

Investigations conducted by the Gender office at Tigoni police station revealed that this was not the first instance in which a senior manager had forced female workers to remove their clothing.
Senator Gloria Orwoba, who initially brought this incident to public attention, received a distress call regarding the matter on Monday night.
“I received a report about an incident at Brown Cheese Company in Limuru, wherein the Quality Assurance Manager encountered a sanitary towel placed in the wrong bin. Allegedly, the manager gathered all the female team members and instructed them to undress in order to ascertain who was menstruating, presumably intending to impose punishment on the responsible party for their disposal error.” Orwoba shared on her social media platforms.
“It is unfortunate that the matter at Brownscheese Company in Limuru has escalated despite this morning’s intervention through my office,” she expressed with disappointment.
