The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) announced on Tuesday, June 6, that there are 1,070 open job vacancies available in various departments.
In a statement released to the general public, the commission encouraged interested individuals to apply for positions such as boiler assistant, cook, housekeeping assistant, driver, senior support staff, assistant office administrator, and mortuary attendant.
The NPSC invited qualified individuals to submit their applications for multiple positions within the National Police Service.
Among other vacancies listed, include Secretary of Administration, Chief Finance Officer, Chief Economist, Deputy Chief Legal Officer, Counsellors, Accountants, and Information Communication Technology Officers.
The specific job groups for these vacancies were not mentioned in the advert.
How To Apply for NPSC Jobs
To apply, interested applicants were instructed to submit their applications online through the website services.npsc.go.ke/recruitment.
If applicants did not have a profile, they were required to register on the recruitment portal. Within the portal, there were different tabs, including vacancies and personal details, which applicants needed to navigate to select their desired job and complete the application process.
The NPSC also advised applicants to visit the official website www.npsc.go.ke for detailed job descriptions.

During the interview, all shortlisted candidates were expected to provide original certificates for verification.
However, candidates applying for positions in job Group R and above had to meet the requirements outlined in Chapter Six of the Constitution, which covers leadership responsibilities, oath, conduct, and restrictions on activities of State Officers, among other criteria.
The NPSC emphasized that they are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and gender equality.
Individuals with disabilities and those from disadvantaged groups to were encouraged to apply.
Only qualified candidates would be contacted.
The NPSC warned that any irregularities in the recruitment process would result in automatic disqualification.
The deadline for applications is June 20, 2023, at 5 pm EAT.
