The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has announced 18 job vacancies across the agency and encouraged Kenyans to apply.
On Tuesday, May 9, the authority announced that 12 managerial posts, including the Director of Corporate Support Services, are vacant.
Other jobs include the Director of Motor Vehicle Inspection and Safety Audits, the Director of Registration Licensing, and managers in the departments of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Human Resources (HR), and Registration and Safety Audits.
Principals are needed in the following divisions: Records, Audit Systems, Road Safety, and Legal.
The agency also stated that it was looking to fill two openings for the job of Security Officer and four vacancies for the Engineer II Road Safety position.
The letter from NTSA came just one day after the authority began a nationwide Road Safety Clinic to address the recent increase in traffic accidents.
The operation began early on Monday, May 8, and involved officials from various agencies setting up checkpoints and requiring official documents for inspection and authentication.
The drivers’ and conductors’ legal licenses and National Identification cards were included.

NTSA requested that CVs with complete details of educational background and professional qualifications be submitted confidently, with the Job Ref. No. marked on the application and envelope.
Copies of certifications, necessary testimonies, and the National ID are also required to accompany the application. Applications should be delivered to the Authority’s Main Office reception.
