Safaricom, the biggest telecoms provider in Kenya, has introduced a Tiktok Bundle as part of its ongoing effort to meet the dynamic demands of its customers.
Since many members of Gen Z spend considerable time on Tik tok, Safaricom has decided to provide special pricing on data plans that will likely appeal to this audience.
A variety of affordable data plans are available through the Tik Tok Bundle.
For just KSH 10, consumers can get a subscription to access 1024 MB of data for an hour.
In addition, you can purchase 150 MB of data for 24 hours for KSH 10. The most expensive package is KSH 50 and provides 24 hours of access to 1.2 GB of data.
Notably, this is the first time Safaricom has labeled a specific package as “TikTok,” but the business has previously offered similar data deals.
One notable example is a KSH 50 bundle aimed squarely at the nighttime TikTok live-streaming community and accessible only between midnight and 6 AM.
Telkom, another major telecommunications operator in Kenya, has also introduced a TikTok bundle similar to Safaricom’s.
Telkom has begun introducing a new data package dubbed “Usiku Sacco,” similar to Safaricom’s overnight offering and active only from 10 PM to 6 AM.
Safaricom customers can access the new TikTok Bundle by dialing the USSD code *544# and selecting the appropriate package. Safaricom’s goal with this latest product is to offer TikTok fans a cheap data solution.
